The\r\nOpening Reception - An afternoon of stories\r\nand performances celebrating the rich Latina/o heritage of Southeast Louisiana\r\nfor the opening of the Paseos Por New Orleans. Meet\r\nthe people profiled in the posters and learn about their creative work in music,\r\nart, design, performance, culinary arts, public health and social\r\njustice.
Performances by many groups and individuals\r\nrepresented in the exhibit including - Mariachi Jalisco, Ballet Folklórico Nicaragüense\r\nCOSMAPA, Antonio Garza, José Torres-Tama and Nicaraguan folk dance by Daniela\r\nBello-Arguello.
Light\r\nrefreshments provided by Norma’s Bakery, Coco Bamboo Pizzeria and Casa\r\nBorrega.
