\r\n\r\nThe Prime Example Jazz Club, under the proprietorship of Julius\r\nKimbrough Sr., partnered with DJ Soul Sister and WWOZ 90.7 FM to start the Thursday\r\nNights Swingin’ weekly jazz series in 2011. He\r\nis now expanding the scope of Thursday Nights Swingin’, in partnership with The\r\nCubaNOLA Arts Collective, to include Latin jazz on the third Thursday of every\r\nmonth.

Los Caballeros del Son will kicked off The CubaNOLA Arts Collective’s new monthly Latin Jazz concert series at The Prime Example Jazz Club. Los Caballeros del Son are one of the premiere Latin music groups currently performing in South Lousiana. The group plays traditional Cuban “Son” music. “Son” is the foundation of all Cuban dance music and originally hails from Eastern Cuba.
